Ron Charles: (Founder and CEO) [Pastors, download a PDF Bio]

Originally from Kilgore, Texas, Dr. Charles has been involved for more than 40 years with humanitarian relief, international water purification, archeological investigations, and teaching and training in various institutions. These activities have taken him to over 50 countries on five continents. He is the author of seven books, of which his most recent work, The Search, is a culmination of more than 30 years of historical research. Throughout these years and travels, Dr. Charles has developed an undeniable passion for helping the underprivileged and needy throughout the world.

Brad Charles: (President)

Brad, the son of Dr. Ron and Paula Charles, is the main leader for all of CUBIT’s numerous construction projects. Involved in construction since he could swing a hammer, Brad’s desire is to provide shelter for those who have none. Through his work primarily in Central and South America, he has learned Spanish, developed a network of friendships and helped many throughout the region. Numerous structures in countries such as Mexico, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and Ecuador testify to his passion for helping others with his construction skills.

Leanne Charles: (Treasurer)

Born and raised in a small East Texas town, Leanne attended Kilgore College where she met and married Brad Charles. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Georgia where Brad began working in construction and Leanne earned a secondary education degree from the University of Georgia at Athens, and graduated a certified teacher. Leanne maintains her desire to participate in missions and help the needy while keeping busy with their son, Cidney. She has accompanied her husband on numerous trips to Central America.

Paula Charles: (Secretary)

Originally from Toledo Ohio, Paula married Dr. Charles in 1971, serving with him in North America and throughout the world. Paula has a long history of organizational and administration experience, having worked in these areas for more than 25 years. She maintains the organization and correspondence of the CUBIT Foundation so that it can continue to function properly. Because of her passion for missions, she has often throughout their marriage joined Ron wherever he has traveled.
